Introduction
The GowringsVersa Ford Tourneo Custom WAV is a spacious, comfortable and versatile wheelchair accessible vehicle designed to balance everyday usability with premium comfort.
Available in both L1 and L2, it can be tailored to suit different passenger and accessibility needs while maintaining the same high standard of conversion.
Both versions accommodate a wheelchair user alongside multiple ambulatory passengers, including the driver, with flexible seating layouts and a lowered floor for improved headroom and ease of movement. Depending on configuration, the vehicle can carry up to 6-9 passengers and offers the option of additional tip and fold seats when a wheelchair is not in use.
Designed with practicality in mind, the Tourneo Custom features dual side loading doors for easy access, a high driving position, and a choice of efficient 2.0L turbo diesel or hybrid engines, delivering smooth and confident performance.

Designed Around Access, Safety and Practicality
Every GowringsVersa Tourneo Custom WAV is engineered to make wheelchair access simple, safe, and reliable, with carefully considered features that support both users and carers.
Wheelchair access is via a rear gas-assisted ramp, supported by an electric winch with a safe working load of 350kg. This ensures smooth and controlled loading with minimal effort. Once inside, the wheelchair is secured using a 4-point Wheelchair Tie-Down and Occupant Restraint System (WTORS), providing stability during travel.
A fold-flat ramp is also available as an option, creating a fully flat luggage floor when a wheelchair is not being carried – ideal for additional storage or alternative use of space.

Flexible Seating Options
The Ford Tourneo Custom WAV is available with a range of flexible seating configurations to suit different passenger and wheelchair requirements. Both the L1 and L2 models are designed to maximise comfort, accessibility and practicality, with adaptable layouts for everyday travel, group transport and specialist use.
The L1 is available with four seating plan options, accommodating one wheelchair user alongside multiple ambulatory passengers, with additional tip and fold seating available when wheelchair space is not required.
The larger L2 offers even greater versatility, with five seating plan options available. Configurations can accommodate one or two wheelchair users, while still providing generous passenger seating and flexible interior space.
All seating plans are designed around safe wheelchair transportation, passenger comfort and ease of access, with lowered floor conversions, dual side loading doors and integrated wheelchair restraint systems throughout.

The Ford Tourneo Custom WAV is available in both L1 (Short Wheelbase) and L2 (Long Wheelbase) formats, with a choice of Standard Cut Floor and Long Cut Floor conversions.
Standard Cut Floor conversions retain the original second-row seating and provide a dedicated wheelchair position at the rear of the vehicle. Available on both L1 and L2 models, these layouts offer an excellent balance of passenger seating and wheelchair accessibility.
Long Cut Floor conversions extend the lowered floor area further forward, creating additional wheelchair space and greater seating flexibility. Available on both L1 and L2 models, these layouts can accommodate larger wheelchairs and, on selected L2 configurations, up to two wheelchair passengers.
