This Fiat Doblo is the “SX” version and has been supplied to us with personalised plates. It was converted for wheelchair passenger access (WAV) by GowringsVersa to our SpacePlus specification.
The Doblo SpacePlus conversion is unique to GowringsVersa and was created by our own engineers with the wheelchair passenger at the heart of the design. The SpacePlus conversion ensured that the new Fiat Doblo WAV was our top seller until discontinued in 2021. However due to its “class leading” wheelchair space, offering 58″ of internal headroom and 33″ floor width, it continues to be a popular choice.
Unlike many of the vehicles converted for wheelchair passenger access the Fiat Doblo SpacePlus retains the original bi-link rear suspension which ensures a car-like ride quality.
The SpacePlus lowered floor conversion uses a 4 point belt system with electro reels at the front and retractors at the rear. Together combined with a lap and diagonal belt they keep the wheelchair passenger safe and secure.
This vehicle has also been fitted with 2 seats in the rear which enables it to carry 5, including the wheelchair passenger.
As with all of our used wheelchair accessible vehicles this model has been refurbished in our own factory prior to being offered for sale and will be supplied with a 6 months warranty covering both the conversion and base vehicle.
