This wheelchair accessible passenger vehicle (WAV) has been converted by GowringsVersa to our SpacePlus specification.
This stunning example of the accessible Fiat Doblo SpacePlus is the “EasyAir” version which offers air conditioning, front electric windows and remote central locking.
The Fiat Doblo SpacePlus conversion is unique to GowringsVersa and was created by our own engineers with the wheelchair passenger at the heart of the design. The SpacePlus conversion ensured that the new Fiat Doblo WAV was our most popular wheelchair accessible model until discontinued by Fiat in 2021. However due to its “class leading” wheelchair space, offering 58″ of internal headroom and 33″ floor width, it continues to be a popular choice within our used range of wheelchair accessible vehicles.
Unlike many of the vehicles converted for wheelchair passenger access the Fiat Doblo SpacePlus retains the original bi-link rear suspension which ensures a car-like ride quality.
The SpacePlus lowered floor conversion uses a 4 point belt system with electro reels at the front and retractors at the rear. Together combined with a lap and diagonal belt they keep the wheelchair passenger safe and secure. This vehicle has two seats in the rear which is positioned alongside the wheelchair position.
Entry is via the lightweight, gas assisted, ramp at the rear.
As with all of our used wheelchair accessible vehicles this model has been refurbished in our own factory prior to being offered for sale..
