Vehicle In Life Annual Check

At GowringsVersa Mobility, we understand the challenges that materialise when managing a converted fleet, along with the hard work required to deliver on- time and to budget. To further support our customers with this, and in addition to our standard aftersales care, we have created a new customer care package, called ‘Vehicle In Life Aftercare’ (VIL).

What is the VIL Aftercare Package?

The VIL Aftercare service is specifically designed to support your duty of care in operating Wheelchair accessible vehicles and assist in mitigating potentially costly repairs.

The annual conversion check will be delivered by our team of qualified field engineers at a time and place convenient to you.  Anything that can be repaired or replaced to on-site, will be actioned to avoid further disruption to your fleet. If for any reason we cannot fix the issue there and then, we will make a follow-up request to the aftercare team, who will arrange a suitable time and date when the changes can be implemented.

Our annual VIL check includes the following;

  • Winch (if fitted)
  • Ramp 
  • Restraints
  • Rear heater
  • Rear air con
  • Grab handles/rails
  • Any other adaptations
  • We will also check Ad Blue and Screen Wash levels.

For any vehicles fitted with a tail lift rather than a ramp/winch, the following checks are carried out specifically to the lift, including;

  • Handset
  • Safety catches
  • Platform rollers
  • Roll stop
  • Gas struts
  • Bridge plate
  • Hydraulic components
  • Oil level
  • Battery/fuse connections
  • Additional driver/ user training can be requested.

The VIL Aftercare package costs £185 (+ VAT) annually, which could save you a considerable amount of money and time, in the long run, reducing adhoc costs and downtime.

The VIL package does not affect any standard aftersales terms or warranty cover and is available as an annual package.
