Aftercare Service

As the UK’s original converter of accessible vehicles, we put the wheelchair user at the heart of all our conversions. We strive to deliver excellent service throughout the life of the vehicle and you can rely on our friendly staff should you need us.

When you buy a wheelchair accessible vehicle from GowringsVersa Mobility we assist you with an in depth programme of support, including:

  • A post-delivery review (Motability customers only).
  • Annual WAV service checks (Motability customers only). Please note this is not a standard vehicle service. Your vehicle will still require a standard service through the relevant dealership.
  • Dedicated warranty department.
  • Supporting parts and documentation.

Post-Delivery Familiarisation Check for all Motability Customers

Approximately one month after you receive your vehicle we will contact you to arrange a visit to a destination of your choice to check that everything is working perfectly and to answer any questions that may have arisen in your first few weeks of ownership.

Annual WAV Service Checks for all Motability Customers

We want to support you fully through the full length of your ownership. One of our engineers will visit you each year of your Motability lease to carry out a full safety inspection. We will call you in advance to arrange the best time to visit to fully check over your vehicle, covering the main elements of the conversion including:

  • Ramp or tail lift
  • Safety belts system
  • Seats
  • Winch (if applicable)

advice on issues and guidance when supplying replacement parts.

We offer the peace of mind of a 3-year warranty on the vehicle conversion in addition to the full manufacturer’s vehicle warranty and our used cars are delivered with a 6 month warranty.

Parts for Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles and Minibus Conversions

With hundreds of different parts in stock, GowringsVersa can readily supply spare parts for the most popular components used in our wheelchair accessible vehicle conversions, including ramps, restraints, seatbelts and seating and much more. Our Aftercare team will be happy to help with advice and parts supply for as long as you own the vehicle, even after your warranty has expired.

If you do choose us to supply your new Motability vehicle, we will arrange collection of your current Motability vehicle at the same time we deliver your new one.  Otherwise, you can arrange for the car to be collected yourself by contacting Motability Customer Services on 0300 456 4566.
