Modern slavery statement

This statement, made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, sets out the approach taken by GowringsVersa Mobility to understand whether slavery, servitude, forced labour and/or human trafficking (together “Modern Slavery”) exits in our supply chain, and the actions undertaken to eliminate it.

Our Business

GowringsVersa Mobility is a trading name of Gowrings Mobility Group Ltd.

GowringsVersa Mobility is is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of wheelchair accessible vehicles (WAVs). We design, manufacture and market a wide range of vehicles that have been extensively converted to allow wheelchair users to travel in their wheelchairs as passengers.

Our Structure

Gowrings Mobility Group Ltd is currently owned by the Newship Group, (acquired in 2009).

Newship Group acknowledges its responsibility to comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and will ensure transparency within the organisation and amongst our suppliers.

The Newship Group is committed to removing acts of modern day slavery from within its business and from within its supply chain.
