With over 50 years of experience, we design, manufacture, and market vehicles that have been extensively converted to allow wheelchair users the freedom to travel in their wheelchairs as passengers.

Due to growth of our used wheelchair accessible vehicle business, we are now recruiting for a Used Sales Specialist to join our team.

Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

• Communicating with customers via email, telephone, and in person.
• Suggesting suitable vehicles based on customer needs.
• Arranging demonstration test-drives and accompanying customers on these tests.
• Appraise customer’s part exchanges and liaise with dealers to acquire prices.
• Negotiating the final price for the sale.
• Completing the order paperwork for each sale.
• Ensuring customer interactions and documents are recorded within our CRM system
• Prospecting potential sales.
• Liaising with the service team to ensure sold cars are prepared to our quality standard and are ready for delivery within the agreed timescale.
• Deliver vehicles to customers and complete necessary paperwork

This role requires a person with a “can do” attitude and the ability to work on their own as well as part of a team. Previous experience in the motor trade, not necessarily in the WAV market, would be desirable but not essential.

The applicant would have excellent communication and organisation skills and would be able to use various MS Office packages.

Hours of work are Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm

Salary is dependent on experience.

A full driving licence is essential

Holidays – 25 days plus Bank Holidays with an existing agreement to use holiday between Christmas and New Year.

We are currently seeking an experienced Production Technician to join the GowringsVersa team.  

Overview of Responsibilities:

• Observe all relevant Health and Safety procedures
• Safe use of power tools and equipment
• Refitting of converted vehicle interior and exterior including trim panels, carpet, headlining, lighting and bumper
• Fitting of electrical equipment. Including winches, reversing sensors, belts, and lighting
• Fitting of options as per customer specifications, including seats, ramp, and storage 
• Modification and fit trim-related sub-assemblies
• Modification and fitment of fuel tanks, exhausts, fuel and brake pipe systems
• Fitting chassis support cross members, cut out OE floor and fit replacement
• Provide support to the production team to efficiently achieve the production plan.
• Housekeeping.

Skills/Competencies:

• Ability to work independently
• Quality conscious with a can-do attitude
• Competent in using a variety of hand-power tools
• Valid car licence
• Team Player.

Hours:

• 40 hours
• 7 am-4 pm Mon -Thurs, Fri 7 am-12.45 pm
• Holidays 25 + bank hols with an existing agreement to use holiday between Christmas and New Year

Salary:

• £24,000 PA  (pay increase review during initial 3 and 6-month probation period).

We are seeking an experienced driver to join the GowringsVersa team in Thatcham, Berkshire.

The role will support the sales team by providing first-class vehicle delivery and vehicle movement services to all of our customers.

Overview of Responsibilities:

• Provide a high-class nationwide delivery service
• Provide knowledgeable and personable vehicle and conversion demonstrations at the customers own home.
• Complete demonstration reports and additional documentation
• Deliver outstanding face-face customer service
• Assist customers with any supporting information.

Skills/Competencies:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Punctual and able to manage workload effectively
• Comfortable driving long distances with possible overnight stops
• Full UK driving licence
• The ideal candidate will be empathetic with a positive, friendly, ‘can-do’ attitude.
