Gowrings Mobility Group Ltd and OH Mobility (a trading division of Gowrings Mobility Group Ltd) are taking the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation very seriously, both in our responsibility to our own people, customers and the wider community and the need to maintain support/service for our customers at this difficult time.

Please be assured that all of our business activities are conducted in accordance with up-to-date advice issued by HM Government and Public Health England.

We are maintaining our core business activities, including vehicle production. Our offices are open but manned by minimum staff. Our Customer Service team are on hand for any queries – please call our main number Tel 0345 608 8020 or email for any help or advice.

Many of our staff are working from home and remain available by email and phone to answer any customer enquiries. Vehicle production is ongoing as usual.

Our staff will contact any customers who have a demonstration booking in the coming days/weeks, to offer to rearrange to a later convenient appointment date (at least 3 weeks). Should any customer wish to go ahead with an existing vehicle demonstration, this will be carried out in line with government hygiene and social distancing guidelines.

Vehicle deliveries will continue for the time being. Our administration staff will contact all customers regarding proposed delivery arrangements. Many of our customers are considered as vulnerable members of society. If they wish, they can request that their vehicle delivery be conducted at an alternative address of a family member in order to avoid being present.

If a delivery is made to our customer, then we will organise a refresher demonstration to take place c. 30 days after delivery.

We will be contacting all of our ‘In Life’ customers regarding their vehicle servicing. All VIL services will be carried out as per advised hygiene measures and without the need for any customer contact.

We have implemented additional measures to clean and disinfect all of our rental vehicles. Specifically, all rental vehicles are valeted, cleaned/disinfected before and after any usage.

We are continuing to offer a full vehicle hire service. All vehicle hire reservations will continue but with the necessary stringent hygiene measures.

We will be contacting all of our customers who have an existing vehicle hire reservation to check details of their booking.

In summary, we are doing our utmost to provide our customers with the high level of service and support they expect despite the current situation and will carry on doing so wherever possible.
